I recently discovered your website while doing searches on ABA and autistic spectrum disorders. I have never felt the need to comment on a website until now. Your website is the best I have found in terms of it's ease of use, organization of information, and actual content. So I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the time and effort that you (and others) have put into it. I am delighted to have found it, will be returning often, and will also be recommending it to parents and other professionals.

JULY 2010: Participate in a new autism gesture study

Hello all and thank you for your continued use of Polyxo.com.

I am currently conducting a study examining the use of gestures by young children with autism as well as children with more typical development. As my dataset, I am collecting existing home video of children's first, second, and/or third birthday parties and examining them for examples of children gesturing.

If you would like to participate in this research and would like to share video of your child's first, second, and/or third birthday parties, please visit http://www.childgesture.org for more information and to sign up. I can take participants from anywhere in the United States. Thank you!
